(Serves 4)

  • 1 pack Sun Brand H.Q Egg Noodle

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1 clove shallot, minced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 50g pork, sliced thinly

  • 8 prawns, remove the prawn head vein

  • 100g carrot, slice thinly into the strip

  • 2 fresh shitake mushrooms, sliced thinly

  • 2 stalks Chye sim, cut into segments


  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce or light soy sauce (adjust according to individual’s preference)

Cooking Steps

  1. Soften noodles in 2 liters of boiling water

  2. Rinse softened noodles in cold water

  3. Fry garlic shallots & garlic in oil over medium heat

  4. Stir fry pork, prawn, mushroom, and vegetables for about two minutes

  5. Season to taste with oyster sauce or light soya sauce

  6. Toss noodles in and heat through and serve

Tips and notes:

  • Do not forget to devein your shrimps

  • You can prepare the dish in advance (softened noodles, cooked shrimps, and vegetables). Just heat and toss everything together with the seasoning sauce just before serving

  • A wok would be the best tool to stir fry! To avoid sticking, hot wok cold oil!
